Curcumin Extract 45

Dr Wolz Curcumin Extract 45 supports a wide range of bodily function processes, whilst having up to 40 times higher bioavailability than other forms of curcumin. The benefits of curcumin have not yet been fully exploited because humans can only absorb a small amount of natural curcumin. In other words, its bioavailability via the intestines is very low. Although the blood concentration increased as a result, in studies it only lasted for an hour and then quickly fell away to the original value. The fat-soluble (lipophilic) curcumin molecules are embedded in a ring of glucose molecules in such a way that a hydrophilic (water-loving) outside and a lipophilic, i.e. fat-friendly, cavity are created inside. The curcumin molecule stays in this cavity until it reaches the intestine.
